excellent product for the price
I bought this hairdryer and was very skeptical it would work. I have long, thick, curly hair. At the salon it takes them 45-60 minutes blow out. I have tried the Instyler and flat irons and have not been pleased with the results, ease of use, and felt they were frying my hair and giving me breakage. This product worked great! And it is under which is so reasonable. I have never been able to work a hairdryer with a round brush so this all in one hairdryer (which is also a great travel size) with attachment is a great solution.
Unlike a flat iron this product enables you to have volume in your straight hair. The straightening attachment at the end rotates which enables to change the angle/position of the dryer while still getting the maximum effect when you have to do the hard to reach areas like the back of your head. I am still getting the hang of using this product; it took me 45-50 minutes to do my hair the first two times I have used this. I think I will get more efficient. Follow the directions and dry your hair a bit before you start straightening it, and work in logical small sections is key. You get a very smooth look and I used only minimal product. My only complaint is I wish it had a round brush attachment to do the ends and put some big curls/body back in. I have not had success yet with getting my ends to curl under or to be smooth. Your hair gets very hot after it goes through the dryer attachement a few times so it is hard to hold and manipulate the ends. The product worked great and the blow out lasted two days till I washed my hair again. Easy to use the hairdryer for touch ups the next morning. I definitely recommend this product!
it does the job.
I bought thisone like four years ago, the attachment would constantly fall out. But i solved that problem by supergluing it on. It works great it does, but after a while since i put some product on my hair, this yucky gunk would stay on the white part of the brush and was stuck deep inside. And it was really hard to clean out. I also think it made my hair frizzier. I tried the Vidal Sassoon one with the brush attatchment, and while it overheats it left my hair way smoother. The REALLY great thing about this one, is that it doesnt overheat. at all, after four years.
The best blow dryer ever!!!!
This is by far the best blow dryer ever!!!!! I loved it so much, that I ordered a second one just in case this one breaks. My hair looks like I just left the hair salon!!! It soft and no frizz whatsoever. It also cut my blow drying time in half!!! I have been recommending this blow dryer to everyone I know. I was worried when I bought it and thought it couldn't hurt . . I read the other reviews and they all claimed what I claim now . . it is the best purchase you could make for your hair!
Does what I need it to do!
I have really thick, frizzy, curly, Dominican hair and I've tried everything to get it to stay straight!! I saw this one day and decided to try it, and it works perfect for what I needed it to. I didn't expect to just use this dryer and have my hair come out straight and perfect like it's advertised and I was right not to think that. This blow dryer is perfect for me to dry my hair with before I straighten. I'm not good at all using a blower and brush, and this dryer is kind of a 'two in one' deal. I dry my hair in sections, and then use my Chi to get my hair sleek and straight. So if you're looking for an easier way to blow dry try this, but if you're expecting to skip the straightening step I don't think this product is what you're looking for.
Time Saving Hair Dryer
I love this hair dryer! I had been wanting it for a while then finally decided to go for it. If you are a dunce when it comes to styling or drying your hair (like me) this is the way to go. It's hair drying 101 for dummies! My goal when I dry my hair is to dry it the fastest way possible and to blow dry it straight. I have wavy hair that does not behave unless it is blow dried. This great dryer takes the guesswork out of drying your hair. It allows you to straighten and dry your hair at the same time. I usually flip my head upside down, use the regular attachment (just like a regular hair dryer) and dry it till its almost dry. Then I put the brush attachment on for the finishing "straightening" touch. It comes out pretty straight and frizz free and if I want even more straightening, I will use my flat iron. This is an awesome hair dryer for people who just cannot control their dryer and a brush at the same time.
